GBST, provider of wealth administration software through its GBST Composer platform, has created a certified training programme for its Composer and Catalyst technology to improve external consultant understanding of the technology and better support joint client implementations.
Financial services and IT consultancy staff at Deloitte are currently undertaking the intensive programme, which provides training in Composer, its APIs and data model, and the Catalyst digital platform. The programme covers all aspects of Composer from both a functional and a technical perspective. It also provides insight into GBST’s configuration and implementation processes, development and testing methodology and future roadmap, increasing Deloitte’s, and other consultancies’, capability to support future joint clients. Those completing the programme will become certified in Composer. More advanced courses will be available as and when required, focusing on specific areas of the GBST proposition.
David Simpson, Head of EMEA at GBST, commented: “The industry has experienced many difficult platform implementations and migrations in recent years. By working in collaboration with organisations like Deloitte for selective clients, we can bring our broad collective experience of the market together to help de-risk future implementations. We believe fostering a greater awareness of our technology within consultancies like Deloitte can only improve the success of future client projects.”
Richard Eighteen, Partner at Deloitte, added: “Having worked on a number of implementations with technology providers to deliver quality assurance and programme support to our clients, we recognise the importance of a deep understanding of leading platform offerings. This training programme ensures that our consultants have in-depth knowledge of GBST technology and the Composer platform. We look forward to getting into the detail of the solution and developing our relationship with GBST further.”
