An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic development team. This great role would ideally suit a candidate wanting to take the next step in their career and work in a dynamic and rewarding environment with exposure to a diverse range of development and implementation projects in the capital markets area.

What will I be doing in this role?

• Project managing software development and implementation projects during all phases of the project;
• Managing resources assigned to projects to ensure quality of all deliveries;
• Working with all project stakeholders to ensure they are correctly informed on project performance and risk areas;
• Providing a high level of written and oral communications;
• Ensuring a high level of quality across all project activities and take proactive steps to improve process where required.

Alright so let’s talk about the skills, experience and all the important things you can bring to this role!

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Managerial role with exposure to software development projects;
• Project Certifications desirable – PMP, CAPM;
• Demonstrated skills in a professional project management capacity including the management of integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality and resources (both human and technology) in the software development area;
• Highly developed client management skills;
• Disciplined, well organised and methodical;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to travel interstate or overseas for client implementations and flexibility around after-hours availability given team resources may be located in U.K. and Asia;
• Demonstrated good working knowledge of an industry standard project management methodology (e.g. SCRUM, PRINCE2, PMBOK);
• Experience with managing a development team;
• Experience using Agile methodologies would be highly desirable;
• Experience in Capital Markets and / or Wealth Management industry.
