London, 04 June 2026 – GBST has been awarded Best CASS Solution at the Systems in the City Awards, recognising the strength and depth of GBST Composer in supporting CASS compliance for medium and large firms.
Composer provides full CASS compliance across both cash and assets under a single customer record. The platform runs its own internal cashbook, tracking all cash movements and enabling traceability back to the physical corporate bank account.
For assets, Composer supports both individual and custody positions, tracking every asset movement and producing internal and external reconciliation reports. Firms can configure reporting rules based on traded or settlement date positions, and Composer clearly distinguishes between CASS safe custody assets, CASS custody assets and non‑CASS assets within its investment fund structure to support accurate regulatory categorisation.
Composer also produces all required CASS reports, including CMAR, and includes an inbuilt reconciliation module with workflows to support the management and resolution of breaks.
The award was presented at the Systems in the City Awards ceremony, organised by Goodacre, which recognises excellence across financial services technology and operations.
