GBST has announced plans to enhance the Syn~ANG offering for Australian investment bank and broking clients with the comprehensive fixed income capabilities of Syn~Ops.
Syn~Ops has supported global clients with the fixed income asset class for many years and now this functionality is being extended to Syn~ANG, and adapted for the unique requirements of the Australian market.
Clients opting for this new capability can choose to integrate fixed income with their equities processing operations to realise additional operational cost savings.
For clients that prefer to keep the asset classes separate, Syn~ANG will provide the appropriate controls to segregate back office operations whilst allowing for top-level management oversight and metrics.
Key features include:
GBST’s Rule S1 Capital Liquidity engine is also being enhanced to support consolidated risk reporting across both asset classes. The BIR reporting tool will allow for consolidated reporting across the entire system.
Fixed income support will be available with Syn~ release 3.3.4 from Q1 2021, for all Syn~Ops and Syn~ANG clients. It can be deployed on a stand-alone basis or integrated with existing equities back office operations. Clients can deploy into on-premise infrastructure or can take advantage of the SAAS capabilities available in Syn~ release 3.3.
Future integration points may include DTCC CTM, local agents and global custodians via SWIFT and Euroclear and Clearstream iCSD connections.
