The GBST Composer Business Integration Server (CBIS™) is GBST’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that supports functionally rich web portals and STP transactions using standards based web services.
CBIS™ is used by many clients and is a key component in the BT/Westpac Super for Life which looked at consolidating approximately 70 individual applications into the one single web portal allowing for true STP from the web to the back office.
CBIS™ has a number of key functions including:
- Standards based web services containing a number of functions from investor and account creation / maintenance to STP of transactions.
- CBIS™ contains a custom advice generation framework that allows clients to integrate their current reporting infrastructure to generate client specific reports, statements and data extracts.
- Full integration with ComposerWeb™; GBST’s front office solution with views for advisers, dealers and investors allowing investor and account creation / modification, STP of transactions and more.
