Suncorp launches new super platform on Composer

Suncorp Wealth Management has launched a new superannuation platform, WealthSmart, for customers who are taking a more active interest in their super.

The new platform offers more than 30 single sector investment options, so advisers can tailor specific solutions for clients, as well as new electronic and business processing functionality. The new platform was developed with Intech, a provider of investment portfolio solutions. The relationship between the groups has been in place for some time.

"Some people are taking a more active interest in their super for the first time and may be realising they really don’t understand how their money is invested or how to make the most of their super in retirement," said executive general manager Vicki Doyle.

WealthSmart not only aims to demystify super by speaking in a language that all customers can understand, but deliver a platform that is less complex overall, Doyle added.
