We are seeking high-calibre candidates to join the Brisbane Broker Services Division within the Syn~ Team in the role of Java Developer. This role will begin in January.

Ideally the successful candidate will exhibit:

• Good general purpose Java programming experience.
• Web development experience including HTML/CSS/Javascript, AJAX and/or GWT.
• Database development experience using Hibernate, Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies.
• Experience installing and supporting Java applications on MS Windows, Unix and Linux.
• Experience with business process engines and workflow.
• Experience working in a project team environment.
• A passion for staying at the front of the development technologies.
• A keen desire to be part of a dynamic and fast growing company.
• The drive, energy, enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment to work in a highly demanding environment.
• Analytical, resourceful and have good interpersonal, leadership and commercial skills.
• A strong interest in business technology and the financial services industry.
