Community

GBST proudly supports the Australian and international community and since 2005 we have donated over AUD$241,000 to charitable organisations.

For the 2009/2011 financial years, we will focus on supporting organisations that our staff members support by matching staff donations, matching staff fundraising efforts, and also contributing to organisations that our staff volunteer with.

GBST will also continue to support industry related events such as the Big City BBQ (being held on Friday 16 October in Brisbane) which supports Drug Arm and the Brisbane Lord Mayor's Community Trust.

Since 2005 GBST has sponsored 11 children in Tanzania, Kenya and Sri Lanka through Innocents Relief. We have also supported 13 orphanages, schools, homes and rehabilitation centres for children in Indonesia, Kenya, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Papua New Guinea.
